Tour of Tbilisi. We rise on the newest lift to the Narikala fortress (IV century), rising we can see the city from a bird's eye view, visit the Sioni Cathedral (VI-VII centuries), the Anchiskhat Basilica of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, the oldest surviving. We will walk on foot along Shota Rustaveli Avenue. Welcome dinner with a music program. Overnight stay.
Today we will visit the ancient capital of Georgia Mtskheta and the main shrines of the country - the Svetitskhoveli and Jvari monasteries. Let's take a selfie on the background of the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers. For lunch, we will taste national Georgian cuisine in one of the "delicious" restaurants. Then we will have a trip to the ancient cave city Uplistsikhe, founded at the end of II - beginning of I millennium BC. Of the 700 caves in Uplistsikhe, only 150 have survived, but this is enough to plunge into the atmosphere of antiquity and understand how the "cave people" lived. Return to Tbilisi.
After arrival, you will have free time - just to relax, dress up and prepare for the New Year's Eve. New Year's Eve gala dinner with entertainment in one of the Georgian national restaurants (paid separately, approximately $ 70-90 / person). The celebration will last until the morning.
After a late breakfast at the hotel, drive to eastern Georgia, the Kakheti wine region with a visit to the medieval city of Sighnaghi, which is declared a museum city and is located on a hill with a fascinating view of the Alazani Valley and the mountains of Dagestan (North Caucasus). The city is still surrounded by a wall that was built at the end of the 18th century, during the reign of Heraclius II. Next we will visit the Bodbe nunnery, where St. Nino, the enlightener of all Georgia, is buried.
Next, we will visit a family restaurant where we will have the opportunity to try real home-made wine, taste home-made gozinaki and churchkhela without which not a single Georgian feast can do.
Return to Tbilisi for the night.

(Under good weather and road conditions) The first stop is Ananuri - a large, well-preserved castle on the banks of the Zhinvali reservoir, near the town of Zhinvali. It stands directly on the Georgian Military Highway, this is one of the most famous castles of Georgia, it is mentioned in all booklets and guidebooks, tourists are often brought here.
