195, 6 thousand visitors visited the protected territories of Georgia in the last five months. This is 24% more compared to the same period last year, - the Agency for Protected Areas of Georgia estimated.
Of the 195.6 thousand visitors to Georgia's protected areas, 55% are Georgians, and 45% are foreigners, the agency notes. At the same time, the number of Georgian visitors increased by 14%, and foreigners - by 38%.
Foreign tourists who go to the parks, most often from Germany, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, Israel and Russia.
